Discover Why Working at Brighter Path Center Is More Than Just a Job
Samantha Blake
M.Ed., PMP – Five Levels Up the Professional Ladder in Five Years
“I started my journey with Brighter Path Center five years ago as a behavior technician. I was excited to learn about ABA—it was a whole new world to me—and how to implement strategies that would support our clients and families. Like many new hires, I was nervous about completing my field training and handling my own client assignments, but I quickly realized that Brighter Path Center has a strong community of committed clinicians and staff who were there to guide, train, and support me every step of the way.
Brighter Path Center stood behind me as I set ambitious educational and career goals. I transitioned from Behavior Technician to Senior BT in 2015, and within a year, I became a Training Coordinator. The company supported my educational journey by helping me balance work, school, and supervision hours, which allowed me to earn a Master’s of Education in ABA from Arizona State University in May 2018. I continued to advance in my career, moving to Case Manager later that year and then to my current role as a Behavior Supervisor in 2019.
I’ve fallen in love with ABA, and I’ve always felt fully supported in every phase of my professional growth at Brighter Path Center. The company encourages continuous development, and I love being in a position where I can keep learning while staying hands-on with the kids. I cherish the silly moments with the clients and celebrate their progress toward their goals. When faced with challenges, I’ve learned it’s okay not to have all the answers because I have a team of experienced, knowledgeable, and approachable professionals to consult.”
"I fell in love with the field of ABA and have felt fully supported at every phase of my professional growth."
